@Alan: Skinning Problems

 When following Skinning the Upper Body tutorial I came across this problem:
Even though the point was correctly weighted to a joint it didn't want to move to it's place. I tried weighting it to a different joint but it didn't help either.
After awhile I thought I finally got it, the point moved and seemed to be ok but then something even worse happened:
 A point weighted to spine joint moved together with shoulder joint and when I came back to animation of the arm which was on the beginning of the timeline this is what happeened:
More points started moving with joints that they were not weighted to...Is there a way to fix it? Sorry for bothering while it's Christmas... : (

Character Design: Developing the Sidekick

More sidekick sketches, this time transfered into Photoshop. First sheet presents various colour schemes for his clothes and second one some pose experiments. Also, in my opinion the shade of blue of his body is too vivid and it makes him look too cartoony. The overall shape, I am happy with, however colours need further development.

Character Design: Final Sidekick and Costumes

 More clothes for the hero, again based on the Husary outfits and armor. First sheet presents the general idea of how the armor could look like, however the hero doesn't need it and would probably never wear it, and that's why there are not many of those.
Sheet two however shows ideas for more casual clothing.

Final Sidekick figured out; more tentacle-like details added, feet and general form of the body defined.

 The Sidekick not being happy and enthusiastic about the idea of clothes. Few clothes ideas (just for fun) that came to my mind late in the night. The hawaiian skirt definitely feels like the right type of outfit!

And few more serious ideas. My favourites are number 3 and 6. I wanted them all to feel like something that doesn't necessary have to cover the whole body but only needs to give the audience that feeling that "whatever will do, because he doesn't want to wear it anyway".

Any feedback will be well appreciated :)
