Few little painting I've done recently. I am trying to practise more and get more confident with colours, creative ideas and painting itself. 3D is making me lazy in terms of drawing and that I can not allow.

T-shirt Desin: Commission for Inochi
A commission work I did for a friend of mine Inochi, who is a professional streamer and needed a t-shirt design. This project was meant to be in a cute style, with pastely colours and simple form. I will keep this space updated when I get to see an actual printed T-shirt with this design on. It was a very fun project that remined me about how fun exploring photoshop is :)
Super exciting! Watch this space for t-shirt updates :)

Summer Creativity
This summer I decided to finally try running a small stand on a convention in Poland. I came up with an idea of 'custom drawings' which basically meant drawing people's faces on the previously prepared layouts. Below are the layouts that I really enjoyed making:
And few fanarts just in case. Nothing big (TURTLES! : D)Even though it didn't go as smooth as I thought it would I still feel happy that I finally decided to do it. That thought has been following me for many months and I am glad I found the courage to fulfill it. Next time it will all be better!

The CGAA Christmas Speed Paint Challenge #002
Oh no! There's been a terrible accident in the Father Christmas Parcel & Gift Teleportation Room! One of Santa's Little Helpers has had his molecules spliced with a satsuma!

Photoshop Practise: Self-portrait
This evening I decided to take a break from Maya and uni projects and play a bit in Photoshop. My main intention was to thumbnail for few hours as last time I found it really hard to do it, but this plan failed when I thought about a self-portrait practise.
I found it highly entertaining to mix different colours and ways of painting that I've never used before.
I am not sure if it actually looks like me but even though the fun was worth the time!

Project: Bad Fish Company #2
I have finally finished the character set with all six designs:
1. Final Set:
2. Close-Ups:
Close-ups of the faces, though there's not many details.
From left: an employee, a scientist, a nephew/a fancy bodyguard, the boss, a bodyguard, a secretary/ a female employee.
Even though the final outcome has not met my vision, a practise always counts as a practise and is good :)

Project: Bad Fish Company
Here is a work in progress picture from a project I decided to work on. It focuses mainly on character design inspired by deep sea creatures. Apart from this set I also want to create separate characters sheets for each of them and if the time allows me, speed paint thumbnails and concep art of the environemt.

XMG Design Contest
I decided to take part in a contest held by XMG Magazine on Facebook. The topic was to design a laptop cover. Here is my entry and steps of creating it:
I found this one to be quite interesting, even though I discovered it by accident.
And this one is the final image:
I know this is going to be a shameless act of selfpromotion but if anyone likes this work I do invite to voting on this page: XMG Design Contest
You might also find other works that will interest you! It's worth looking through.

Daily Speedpaint .001
Lately I've been quite busy and had no time to practise in photoshop. I decided it needed to be changed and here it is - daily speedpaint is back!

Speed Paint Practise: Cloud Art
Around a year ago I came up with an idea of 'cloud art'. I know the name might sound really cheesy but it got stuck in my head and I couldn't help that.
The idea itself is really simple - seeing shapes in clouds and painting them in photoshop.
The idea itself is really simple - seeing shapes in clouds and painting them in photoshop.
Not seeing anything like that around the Internet I got really excited. Unfortunately, I started working on it not long before the summer ended.
Before I moved to England and gave my whole attention to university projects, I managed to speed paint two ideas:
I know - nothing too original but believe me - it's so fun and relaxing!
In the wave of university work I completely forgot about this idea and abandoned it; today, after almost a year my brain woke up.
I gave it another try:
It was really refreshing and fun! I am definitely going to take more photos of clouds over this summer and carry this idea on!

Cinematic Spaces: Photoshop Workshops 12.10.2012
Practising "Free transform" option, together with perspective and others:

Sometimes it helps when someone looks at a picture with that "fresh eye" and see something different in it. Mysterious white line in first picture is not the point; the whole conctruction on the left is.

Cinematic Spaces: Photoshop Workshops
Pieces I've done during Photoshop Tutorial Classes.
First set is from 28.09.2012:
Second set is from 05.10.2012:
First set is from 28.09.2012:
I tried to work out things connected with my excerpts. These four are for part one, A Lunar Morning.
Second set is from 05.10.2012:
In this one I didn't try to make anything connected with the book I was given.
I'm looking forward to working more on the second one. I somehow like the Halloween mood it carries.
